State of Illinois Update:
With a new wave of COVID-19 surging across the state of Illinois and the nation, all 11 regions moved into Tier 3 effective November 20, 2020. View the Resurgence Mitigation Plan. |
City of Chicago Update:
Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that the City of Chicago will move at a different timeline than the rest of the state while reopening. Phase IV: Gradually Resume has started and the City defines it as “Strict physical distancing with some businesses reopening.” That being said, preventative social distancing measures taken in Phase III should continue through Phase IV. The City of Chicago, as well as ICNC, highly encourages employers to indicate their ability to comply with the city's standards by completing the self-certification process. |
We are open and operational for businesses that are able to operate. We have asked that all tenants who will be on the premises to continue to practice social distancing and washing hands and business spaces thoroughly and often.
We have implemented new policies and protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. The ICNC office is closed and we ask that you communicate via phone or email for any assistance that you may need. ICNC's maintenance team is back at work to do the routine disinfection and cleaning of common area high touch points such as: doors, door handles, handrails, restroom stalls and fixtures, general common spaces, and other high touch locations.
Events, workshops, in-person meetings, and in-person advising sessions have all been postponed or moved to a virtual format.
We’re here to help! The full ICNC team, including The Hatchery Chicago team is online and available via email for support.

If you have a donation, please email the state! Please include the quantities of each items that you have on hand to donate along with your address to determine best drop-off point. You will then be contacted about the next logistical steps. IMEC has created a portal where manufacturers can connect and find suppliers to help create PPE for first responders.

During this difficult time, the team is compiling resources regarding financial resources, food access, and more.
